As a student recruiter you will recruit adult and high school prospective students, assess their educational needs
and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered at Arclabs Welding School.
Recruiting students
for our dynamic institution requires a customer-focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a
passion for changing lives through skills training.
The position requires the flexibility to work evening and
weekend hours when needed.
The main objective of this position to is keep the school at capacity with dedicated students who want to start a
career in welding.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serves as a member of the Admissions Team managing a recruitment territory to assist in achieving
enrollment goals
• Achieve student enrollment goal established by director for each starting class
• Actively generates referral business to help maintain company goals
• Executes recruitment strategies as outlined in the admissions plan in the assigned territory to include
high school and/or community visits, job fairs, and special events
• Initiates, plans, and executes special projects in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the school
• Works with students and parents to assist in the recruitment process, as well as SC Works workforce
staff and Veterans Administration career counselors.
• Provides admission presentations to visitors on the campus and conducts tours, informing of program
requirements, student guidelines and expectations of tuition assistance.
• Advise students and families of admission requirements, financial aid, scholarship information, and
additional school information
• Provides follow-up to students via phone, letter, email, and scheduled appointments
• Reviews admission applications, evaluates credentials, and informs director of decisions that need to be
made
• Completes routine reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedules, travel, special
programs, and professional development
• Adheres to School policies and procedures
