Job Title: Business Development Manager/Field Sales Engineer Company: Richardson Electronics, Ltd.
Type: Full time Business Development Manager/Field Sales Engineer Job Description Under direction, plans, manages promotion & sales activities in a geographically assigned territory.
Is responsible for the coordination of sales programs for our Power & Microwave portfolio to attain sales and gross margin goals.
This position could have some project or managerial responsibility.
Business Development Manager/Field Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions: Manage Sales development and Market penetration at assigned OEM.
Ability to promote and leverage opportunities in electric/electronic block diagram selling approach.
Develop top accounts sales and profit growth.
Direct customer sales call for maximizing sales within the territory.
Build up and farm Demand Registration funnel with the aim to maximize Design Wins and build up revenues.
Expend the associated selling to max revenue at key accounts.
Prospect the territory and leverage new Customers.
Close cooperate with vendors or their representatives in implementing territory growths strategy.
Processes RFP’s, quotes.
Book orders Analyze and evaluate sales of customers in relation to forecasts, quota and potential.
Keeps informed of market changes and trends relating to products in the industry and reports these to Product Managers and superiors.
Attends and participates in sales meetings, trade shows and seminars as required and assigned.
Prepare and submit all required reports, expenses, projections and budgets in a timely manner.
Direct telemarketing for prospecting new and inactive customers; follows a structured lead generation approach with specific lead generation objectives.
Non-essential Job Functions: Train sales associates as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Radio Frequency, Power electronics technologies.
Thorough knowledge of block diagram sales techniques and methods.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Working Environment: Office and direct customer contact.
