Job Summary:
The Director of People Leader Services & Business Relations is responsible for leading a shared service operation in the United States.
This includes people leader services – coaching, generalist support, and training for all people leaders in corporate and SBU functions and field sales & service; as well as all employee relations investigations; and SBU relations, to maximize the effectiveness of our HR model.
This is a newly expanded team and will require transformational leadership to change the current operating model and grow the team to realize the benefits of our investment in capacity and capability.
The HR Solutions Director of People Leader Services and Business Relations will report to the VP, HR Solutions.
Responsibilities:
Builds and leads a highly engaged, effective shared service HR team, fostering a culture of trust, respect and accountability
Leads the teams who are responsible for proactive strategic project partnership, change management, training and coaching services to support and enable business unit HR needs, as well as people leader effectiveness in the use of performance management, talent management,
engagement and other HR processes, practices and programs, to successfully attract, engage and retain a diverse & inclusive workforce and achieve business growth.
Builds a connected HRS and SBU HR business shared services relationship delivery model, ensuring VOC, measuring performance and driving continuous improvement utilizing lean methodologies
Effectively leads the U.

employee relations team responsible for HR investigations and accommodations; enhancing standard work protocols to deliver thorough investigation services and resolutions for closure in a legally compliant, professional and respectful way.
Ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices.
Ensures consistent, positive customer experiences for our partners and stakeholders
Develops and executes HR plans, processes, projects and programs aligned with business objectives and enterprise strategies.
Serves as expert in change management planning and implementation to positively impact organizational effectiveness; provides guidance and coaching to leaders on change management and expectations on change management.
Tracks performance, analyzes, draws insights and drives continuous improvement in reliability, quality and customer satisfaction through MDI ownership and use of lean methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, HR, or a related field; Masters preferred
7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a variety of settings including business unit and corporate experience
Prior team leadership experience required
A thorough understanding of the workplace investigation process through the full concern lifecycle from intake to resolution
Experience performing diagnostics, implementing KPIs and improving processes using continuous improvement tools
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills; superior ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization; including presenting to executive levels
Able to travel as needed, with short notice upon occasion
