Outside Sales Representative – Carolinas Region Generation Green Recycling provides a recyclable oil absorbent service that helps companies GO GREEN & SAVE MONEY.
*Job Summary* Outside Sales Representative for North Carolina, South Carolina & Georgia.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Candidate must maintain a positive company image and customer interactions.
Ideal candidates will maintain a team-oriented mindset while being able to work independently in the sales field.
The candidate will be responsible for prospecting, quoting, timely follow-up, and winning opportunities within the assigned region.
Also, the candidate will train new and existing customers on how to attain optimum use of products and our service.
The candidate will ensure Generation Green Recycling maintains proper product placement at our customer site and provides accurate, current customer account information.
The candidate will utilize existing sales tools (CRM, Prospect Mapping, etc.
), develop/improve data collection methods, and facilitate communication systems for customer training and/or compliance requirements.
This position serves as a backup route driver to fulfill customer needs, on an as-needed basis.
*Essential Job Functions* * Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
* Actively prospect for new opportunities.
* Develop effective sales activity plans that align with goals.
* Record all sales activity within the company’s Customer Relationship Management system.
* Experienced with virtual selling practices and adapting to diverse sales techniques.
* Effective communication skills to relay the company’s value proposition to customers in-person, online, or via the phone.
* Make recommendations to GM for marketing development, trade show participation, and additional marketing mix components for the region.
* Work effectively with the branch Operations Lead and internal support team to provide exceptional customer service.
* Quickly and accurately answer customer’s questions about products, services, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
* Work with existing and new clients quarterly to train personnel on service model, products, and provide ongoing account support.
* Effectively identify prospective customers using online research such as LinkedIn, business directories, chamber of commerce listings, state manufacturing listings, referrals from existing clients, and participation in local organizations.
* Attend industry trade shows/conferences/events as needed.
* Monitor and report market conditions, product innovations, and threats from competing products or services.
* Perform various administrative duties such as preparing quotes, and sales reports, maintaining accurate customer records, filing expense reports, etc.
* Must pass DOT screen and safely operate company vehicles at all times.
* Must comply with all customer-specific site safety requirements.
*Additional Requirements:* * 2+ years of outside sales experience * Bachelor's degree preferred * Experience in Route Sales and as a service provider is a plus! * Experience working in safety and EHS sales experience is a plus! *Compensation: * Salary + Commission, Company Vehicle, 100% Company-paid medical coverage for employees.
Paid time off and paid holidays.
*Salary:* $55,000.
