Essential Duties:
Shadow experienced design consultants on select appointments to understand customer interactions, including explaining features and merits of A&S pool ownership while delivering exceptional customer service.
Assists in presenting company, marketing, and related sales information to customers in a planned and company-approved presentation format.
Assist in gathering customer needs and expectations to contribute to the creation of pool designs using Pool Studio software.
Learn and apply professional and persuasive sales techniques under the guidance of seasoned design consultants.
Coordinates with Design Consultant to manage appointment follow up process including contacting customers, monitoring cancellations, present financing options, receive appointment feedback, and make general follow up calls to appointments to close the sale.
Manages customer files, questions, and change requests.
Utilize the Retail Cost Breakdown (RCB) and Price Book methodology to understand pool pricing.
Update CRM database with pertinent customer information daily including sales and appointment status fields, projected dates on follow-ups, and sale-to-dig timelines.
Prepares a variety of status reports, as needed, including activity logs, sales disposition reports from the CRM database, and adherence to individual goals.
Maintain/Update/Promote the company sales platforms to be used by the sales team in the selling process; Sales Vision 20/20, company sanctioned proposals, etc.
Assists for permitting process by gathering required documents and successful submission to draftsperson and/or permit runner.
Assist homeowners by providing appropriate documentation and guidance to submit for HOA approvals.
Creation, maintenance, and management of addendums after agreement has been signed to ensure agreement is current.
Proactively schedule and conduct material selection meetings for customers, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service and upgrading selections to increase profitability.
Offer design wisdom and inspiration while helping customers select desired material selections for their pool.
Keep current with product trends and customer requests, and how it affects sales of options.
Attends Sales/Construction Meet & Greet events with all homeowners before construction begins to ensure seamless process.
Meets with Regional Sales Manager once per month to review individual progress against sales plan and determine corrective actions if needed.
Participates in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Follows Anthony & Sylvan Pool’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree required.
Three plus years successful B to C sales experience required.
Microsoft Office, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Working knowledge of CRM software
Customer service oriented.
Must be committed and willing to put in the necessary time to be successful
Able to work nights and weekends and occasionally holidays
Works well under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and spoken
Strong negotiating skills to persuade and influence others
Participates and works well in a team-based environment
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Excellent organization and follow-up skills
Must feel comfortable being compensated under a 100% commission pay structure following completion of apprentice program
