The Communications Senior Writer edits and writes targeted, legal- and business-oriented content with a high degree of strategic impact to support the firm's marketing and business development objectives.

Crafts compelling and useful content focused on achieving the firm’s strategic goals.
Edits lengthy and complex legal alerts, other thought leadership, and digital internal and external communications.
Identifies trends, issues and key areas for content development.
Recommends ways to tailor content and delivery channels based on intended audience.
Exercises sound judgment in serving as an adviser for lawyers and other professionals who seek editorial guidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
J.
D.
a plus.
At least six years’ experience editing and writing in marketing, journalism or other professional services capacity (law firm experience preferred).
Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills.
Thorough knowledge of AP Style.
Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
