’ Job Summary The Marketing / Communications Coordinator serves as a go-to resource for integrated, teamwide support.
Responsibilities span administrative duties to key tactical marketing / communications assignments that ladder up to the team’s critical goals of generating visitor spending and revenue for CRVA venues and positive customer and visitor experiences.
A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills and business etiquette, work independently and proactively manage workloads, project timelines and people simultaneously.
Candidates must have experience and success creating effective routines in a fast paced, high volume, high standards environment.
Essential Job Duties Receives direction and takes accountability for successful execution of a wide scope of marketing / communications tasks and projects.
Performs data entry, auditing and monitoring of digital content related to CRVA’s nine websites and 15+ social media handles, including internal corporate communications content for employee intranet and enewsletters.
Compiles data collection and information gathering for departmental reporting and ecommerce platforms; assists in user communication and outbound fulfillment.
Supports public relations team on various initiatives, including the compilation and distribution of weekly coverage recap, distribution of localized press releases, handling of image requests, and logistical needs related to media visits, tours, events and filming requests Aids in grassroots marketing, in-person social media and media relations staffing needs for event support and promotion across CRVA brands.
Assists with brand activation and event needs such as prepping associated materials and managing shipments through careful coordination and communication with marketing / communications team members.
Performs audits and submits information for third-party needs such as VisitNC.
com, community calendars and earned media opportunities and placements.
Updates customer relationship management software or other internal tracking system with account information post travel trade/media tradeshows and sales missions.
Coordinates logistics and execution of meetings, which may include organizing audio / visual, food & beverage and room set-up.
Assists team members in processing invoices, pulling financial reports and submitting expenses.
Orders office supplies and maintains inventory; distributes mail and maintains mail / supply room.
Ensures shared office areas are stocked and orderly, such as kitchen and conference rooms.
May perform other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements Detail-oriented individual that will focus on execution that maximizes opportunity for success on behalf of the CRVA and its clients.
Savvy in digital systems such as client relationship management software, web content management systems and others requiring a keen auditing eye.
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with multiple delegators in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated team player with a positive outlook.
Ability to anticipate customer needs, build positive relationships with customers and vendors, go the extra mile to satisfy and exceed customer needs, treat all customers and vendors with the highest degree of respect and courtesy and deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from a four-year college or university, and 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated track record of attention to detail, high level of organization and ability to deliver on a deadline.
Physical Demands The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
