We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Representative/Account Executive to join our team at Adcom Worldwide.
In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients and close deals primarily in the Southeastern US; specifically the Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA area.
However account executives can sell globally and can request to register leads for companies in other locations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within the Southeastern US
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
- Document all leads, sales and customer interactions
- Use knowledge of International and domestic freight forwarding to educate potential and existing customers
- Expected to sell to the Southeastern US, so travel will be necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics or other comparable fields
- International and domestic freight forwarding knowledge such as: FTL, LTL, Containerized Freight, Air and Ocean freight, Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods, Incoterms, etc.
- Must be able to provide detailed commission reports listing services you have previously sold or comparable portfolio
