LaundroLab is poised for explosive growth across the country and is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the way for our LaundroLab brand.
In this role, you will build on and develop the LaundroLab marketing strategy for both the franchisor and our franchise partners across the country.
The ideal candidate is a growth and customer-obsessed marketer who is looking to change an industry to help build the first nationally recognized laundromat brand in the space.
You're going to be our marketing leader and brand ambassador that owns our retail laundromat marketing strategy including developing and executing on how we support our franchise partners from preparing for a successful Grand Opening through the lifecycle of our partnership.
You'll develop our performance marketing programs, playbooks, and build a 5-star marketing support strategy that helps our corporate and franchise partner stores achieve gross revenue & community impact success.
What are the key responsibilities of the Senior Marketing Manager? Develop the overall marketing strategy for our network of LaundroLab stores including developing campaigns and programs to drive revenue growth into our stores through National (Brand Fund) and Local Marketing programs.
These include digital, in-store, and organic grassroots tactics.
Lead and maintain primary relationships with franchise groups for marketing purposes including our training programs, monthly office hours, town halls, and ongoing support Assist franchisees with developing and executing new store opening plans that focus on increasing awareness, building community involvement, growing overall revenue and driving traffic to locations Manage and work with our Marketing Manager to support franchisees and stores with marketing-related requests, including local creative development, deploying CRM initiatives, paid social posts, local listing updates, national promotion support, and any other needs.
Partner closely with our New Store Opening and Franchise Operations teams to strengthen the relationship between Marketing and Operations, ensuring all marketing activities are vetted to best suit store operations and staff.
Own and report on company-wide and department level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that include Revenue per Square Foot, Store Traffic, Monthly Active Users (MAUs), Gross Revenue, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and more.
Obsess over the customer experience by working with corporate store general managers to test marketing initiatives and campaigns with the goal of rolling out successful ones to the franchise network Evaluate the effectiveness of local programs and contribute to process improvement Work with internal team members and agency partners to coordinate local efforts centered around new store openings, brand campaigns, store anniversaries, and special events Assist franchisees with evaluating and negotiating local media placements and buys as needed, staying within or below budget Oversee the local store marketing budget, including system wide program and individual store spending Conduct franchise marketing meetings with individual owners on an as-needed basis to develop programs and improvements Ensure effective communication of national marketing programs and strategies to franchisees with the overall management of the Brand Fund Participate in annual conventions, franchisee meetings, seminars, business meetings and location openings as needed Work closely with the marketing team as well as team members from other departments including Franchise Operations, Training, Technology, Product, and Finance Who is the ideal Senior Marketing Manager? 7+ years of experience in a multi-location, multi-region retail environment; franchise experience is highly preferred 5+ of experience developing national and hyper-local marketing campaigns; ideally targeting the Hispanic community and low income families Demonstrated experience developing brand plans and creative briefs Extensive knowledge of all marketing media including digital, paid, and social media campaigns Advanced understanding of managing the marketing campaign process, inclusive of leading the review process and providing creative feedback Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including agency, internal creative, media strategy, legal, operations, innovation, finance, business development, and preferred brand and marketing vendors to reach strategic goals Ability to interface comfortably and effectively at all levels of the organization Supervisory experience and ability to influence effectively (up, down, and across the organization) Success in driving business results through executional excellence Strong overall business acumen with a proven ability to connect strategic objectives with action Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities and work under tight timelines Very adaptable with the ability to exercise patience and understanding throughout the campaign development process Patient, empathetic, and assertive when interacting with franchise partners to set expectations accurately, hold each side accountable, and collaborate to achieve store performance and franchise partner satisfaction goals Proactive and results-oriented What are the perks of being a Sr.
