The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to develop the sales team to exceed projected revenue goals; lead the team to identify and move deals forward to land new logo customers and grow existing customer base; mentoring team to create high quality performers that will be considered for growth opportunities; lead region or territory and its assigned functions (e.

You will lead the sales team in process adherence You’re responsible for assessing performance objectively You are dedicated in adopting and reinforcing sales methodologies You help the team thought-lead customers to purchase decisions You will help educate and reinforce the corporate sales strategy This position reports to the Director of Field Sales and is a virtual work from home remote position.
About the Role: In this opportunity as a Regional Sales Manager you will: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to hit and exceed region’s assigned quota, both monthly and annual Grow region’s territory value through the combination of new sales and efforts to retain existing business Accountable for handling pipeline and forecasting accuracy Accountable for day to day team management responsibilities with positive impact on employee development and engagement scores Responsible for coaching and mentoring team to sell value vs price Responsible to work from account and territory plans to ensure team meets strategic plan in place to hit the number Support the use of key technology and support company-wide initiatives Key Performance Indications: Area quota attainment Employee turnover Forecast accuracy Revenue growth in area Critical competencies for success: Sales Approach: you understand and lead reps through handling different sales scenarios; you will provide mentorship in setting agenda; and ensure the team is executing on sales process guidance; you will also reinforce company value propositions to the reps in use during sales campaigns Customer focus: Consistently works with team to take an outside-in approach in interactions with customers; develops uniquely strong customer loyalty; low-to-no customer attrition; key account executive contracts will go to bat for you; you will generate repeat business more than your peers; your patch has high customer satisfaction/CSAT scores relative to peers Strategic skills: leading sales rep territories; developing strategic goals specific to span of control; teaching strategic planning to the reps; enabling reps to conduct business conversations with clients/prospects/customers; mapping solutions to address client/customer strategic goals; incorporating 3rd parties into a strategic view of the territory About You: You're a fit for the role of Regional Sales Manager if you: Have a Bachelor’s degree Minimum 5+ years’ experience selling in direct field sales related work Minimum 3+ years sales management experience in a large enterprise with a team size of 5+ employees Ability to work under a quota system and proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota, especially in a high activity position Can work from home and travel to customer locations Preferred Skills: Experience in Legal Industry a plus Experience managing/mentoring sales team remotely Experience selling content or software B2B, ideally to professionals like tax, legal or financial Experience in office automation systems such as; Excel, Salesforce, Outlook and other similar tools Financial Responsibility: Travel & Expense budgets for manager and all direct reports Regional budget Tracking monthly growth goals, renewal and revenue What's in it for you! Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position.
The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote.
The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $126,000 - $234,000.
The target total cash compensation range in other locations may vary.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
