A Day in the Life Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Technical Support Setup, support, and conduct O-Arm Intraoperative Imaging clinical evaluations and on-site installations with surgeons and potential customers Work with hospital Physicists when testing O-arm for acceptance Troubleshoot system hardware and software to maximize system performance Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, including completing all necessary Regulatory forms Identify and escalate quality improvements Customer Support Provide telephone clinical support to customers Update customer database for products installed, serial numbers, and surgeons trained, site specific information, open issues, following up on part returns and all open calls Notify sales representatives concerning site issues for follow-up Attend customer meetings, shows, and conventions to provide technical support Follow and adhere to MDT policies in regard to Travel and Entertainment expenses Educational Support Educate and train hospital personnel, including radiology, OR staff, and physicians Serve as technical resource for surgeons, clinicians and others being trained Partner with other MDT business representatives, mainly CST, to drive equipment utilization Other duties as assigned/requested by management Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience Current RT Certification (ARRT) Nice to Have Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is important Solid aptitude for using mechanical and electronic devices Prior technical service, support or training experience, OR experience Experience in conflict management Knowledge of the OR environment and working around sterile fields Proficiency in a UNIX based networked computer environment Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office suite Proficient with the use of basic hand tools About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
