Job Description – Inside Sales Title Inside Sales / Counter Sales Summary The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings.
We are looking for a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Charlotte, North Carolina location.

Responsibilities Responsible for answering phones Taking orders from customers over the phone Giving status of previous order Preparing quotations and bids Computer entry Purchasing of non-stock items and backorders Coordination of sales orders Provide professional customer service to customers Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills Motivated team player who takes initiative Work Setting Charlotte, North Carolina Monday - Friday, day shift Benefits PTO, paid holidays, birthday off with pay and jump starts GM and Ford vehicle discount Medical, company pays 75% of premium along with a free medical wrap Free telemedicine with medical enrollment Dental Vision Free $20K Life Insurance and AD&D Critical Illness and Accident insurance Short and Long Term Disability 401K program with a 25% match with no cap!
