Reporting to Sr Director Client Success & Commercialization, the Market Researcher & Pricing Analyst will be part of the Commerce Enablement Solutions (CES) team, collaborating with various teams such as Marketing, UX/UI teams, Product, Operations, Sales, and Business Leaders.
The primary focus of this role is to gather customer insights, conduct segmentation research, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
We are looking for a self-motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
To be successful, you must be able to:
Establish strong relationships with business teams and work with other members of the research team and cross-functional teams to identify areas where segmentation can be applied effectively
Present research findings, insights, and recommendations to business stakeholders effectively and persuasively to provide a holistic perspective of the customer's point of view
Oversee end-to-end research projects, including proposal development, consultant selection, survey sampling, data collection, analysis, and reporting
Provide Persona Development: Create and communicate personas that describe segment behaviors and attitudes to aid in program and message
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences and overall market space opportunities
Lead and participate in qualitative and quantitative research studies to gather customer insights and feedback about interactions with the company's products, services, and overall brand perceptions
Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
Use online market research and catalog findings to databases
Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
Share research findings with senior leadership and executives
Use your findings to influence product and go-to-market roadmaps and teams to measure and improve Global Payments, Inc.
and customer user value, usability, satisfaction, and delight
Manage vendor relationships with third party data and survey vendors
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
Proficiency in using statistical tools such as SPSS, Excel, R, and Looker.
Proficiency in using various research tools for surveying, focus groups, interviews, and secondary data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply different research methods and understand strengths and weaknesses of each design.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Collaborative team player with the ability to interact with diverse groups and levels within the organization.
Self-motivated and resourceful, with a passion for improving Customer Experience
Knowledge of marketing analysis, market research, and segmentation is desirable
Familiarity with data clustering, data collection, and proposal development is a plus
