SC Johnson Professional is seeking an Associate Manager, Communications and Demand Generation who will participate in a wide variety of external communications and marketing activities within a fast-growing and dynamic company.
The foremost responsibilities for this position will be to develop and execute externally facing industry, trade, and marketing ex communications that drive lead generation, brand preference and sales growth This individual will participate in all aspects of digital communications, both internal and external.
The primary focus will be on marketing, digital communications, advertising, public relations, industry relations, web site development, and social digital presence.
The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Most deliverables will be deadline-oriented to both internal and external parties.
The role will also require interaction with other company departments as well as outside agencies.
The selected candidate must demonstrate exceptional initiative, a willingness to learn and advanced communication skills.
Responsibilities: Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for working with sales and marketing leaders to develop the appropriate messaging for our strategies, products, and solutions and to select the appropriate mediums to use for delivery of messaging.
Organize external communications for the business unit Responsible for contributing a significant portion of sales leads in Salesforce through responsiveness to marketing messaging, tradeshows, Hubspot, etc.
Play a significant role in successful execution of the communication portion of all marketing and brand strategies.
Implement the communication strategy and tactics by user segment and persona to support overall product/segment strategies.
Monitoring SEO and Keyword Optimization.
Report on KPIs on communication plans and tactics.
Managing the customer contact databases Coordinating with marketing sector teams to create and post social and other digital media content Hosting monthly sales/marketing webinars Creating and implementing new communications strategies Developing content to support marketing sector campaigns.
Developing relationships with key internal contacts (i.
e.
, marketing sector managers, graphic designers, website designers) Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related field Minimum 5 years prior experience in B2B marketing or a related role Additional Skills and Qualifications: Proficient computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe) Strong written and verbal communications skills High level of integrity and a solid work ethic Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and business sectors.
