This team member is a proactive, self-starting individual, comfortable with daily local travel and establishing relationships with clients and upper management in order to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization via developed strategic sales plans.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Responsible for advancing and securing sales in the market, performing functions to secure new business accounts and facilitating the needs of the existing sales accounts.
This is accomplished through territory planning, merchandising and communicating the achievement of company and supplier objectives.
Execute 15-20 daily outside sales calls, generate daily prioritized to do list and call reports
Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends
Accountability for timely follow-up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction, preparing the necessary paperwork, and delivering it to account to ensure timely invoicing
Promote customer satisfaction, resolution, and loyalty with excellent follow-up in all stages and aspects of the sales cycle
Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships and communication channels with all relevant departments including, but not limited to, equipment operators, mechanics, direct reports, etc.
Maintain quality prospecting calls on a continual basis including cold calls and in-person introductory visits
Complete and deliver all required paperwork, expense reports, sales pipelines, forecasts, and contracts as required by the company policy and management
Maintain customer information, appointments, and opportunity information in the companys CRM program.

SKILLS:
College education preferred OR past winning track record of 3-5 yrs.
in industrial sales experience
Excellent customer service skills including patience and persistence for daily prospecting and maintaining current strong customer relationships
A dedicated, self-motivated, energetic mindset focused on solid work ethic
Meticulous attention to detail- both methodically and thoroughly
Well-rounded coaching ability
Outstanding verbal and written communication.
Project a positive and professional image/attitude while interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is located in assigned branch with daily local travel
