DJ/MC

Responsibilities: - Provide entertainment as a Disc Jockey at various events and venues - Create and maintain a lively and engaging atmosphere through music selection and mixing - Interact with the audience and make announcements using public speaking skills - Coordinate with event organizers to understand their requirements and preferences - Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems, mixers, and turntables - Ensure smooth transitions between songs and maintain a seamless flow of music - Take requests from guests and incorporate them into the playlist when appropriate - Stay up to date with current music trends and popular songs in order to keep the audience engaged - Adhere to all copyright laws and licensing requirements when playing music Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, guests, and event organizers - Ability to read the crowd and adjust the music selection accordingly to keep the dance floor active - Strong knowledge of different music genres and ability to mix tracks seamlessly - Experience in marketing yourself as a DJ to attract clients and book gigs - Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and handle any issues that may arise during events - Physical stamina for long hours of standing, setting up equipment, and potentially heavy lifting - Bartending experience is a plus, as some events may require serving drinks alongside DJ duties If you are passionate about music, have a knack for reading crowds, and enjoy creating an energetic atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
