The Commercial Flooring Customer Service Representative works in partnership with sales personnel to ensure that we provide the highest quality of service to our commercial accounts while maximizing efficiency and acceptable profit margins within AFDC guidelines.
He or she is held accountable to ensure timely delivery of quality flooring products and installation services for assigned clients.
The ideal candidate for this position is a customer service “people person” with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills and self discipline to support our commercial sales team.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with a variety of personalities.
The ability to read builder specifications, multi-task and maintain accuracy during data entry is critical.
Specific skills required include data management, mathematical computation and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Export or key quotes into RFMS proprietary software (RFMS Background preferred but not required)
Generate purchase orders, work orders and other varied documents to insure on-time delivery
Monitor and track orders to meet customer needs and installation schedules.
Act as liaison between suppliers and sales rep team to ensure everyone is up to date on material statuses to ensure proper communication with end user
Communicate effectively with sales rep and QCs (Quality Control) to achieve overall job accuracy, including but not limited to – material procurement, scheduling, installation, QC field management
Ensure that all jobs are complete, correct, and formatted consistently to meet the need of the end users
Maintain job’s profit margin by requesting and inputting proper project information and/or documentation (i.
e.
, Change Orders, Material Claims, etc.
)
Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
