Ardmore Power Logistics, LLC is a 3PL that serves the energy industry.
Members of the Ardmore team participate in the overall success of a dynamic freight-management program by providing logistics and operational support to the energy companies we serve.
We are seeking the right candidate to fill a position as an Account Coordinator to help us accomplish this goal.
In addition to the requirements below, the ideal candidate for this position will have knowledge in all modes of transportation.
A typical day includes processing transportation requests, building and dispatching loads, track and trace, handling of expedited shipments, load optimization and customer service follow up.
The ability to build and maintain positive business relationships and to foster a team environment, with both internal and external clients, as well as well as work independently, is pivotal to the role.

Position is hybrid , with work from home and office as required by customer.

*Requirements*
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
* Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
* Sound decision making ability
* College degree or 3-5 years’ experience in transportation/supply chain
*Responsibilities*
* Perform shipment execution and planning (Process transportation orders and dispatch shipments, proactively monitor transportation moves and communicate accordingly, optimize loads, monitor carrier capacity, manage cost vs service)
* Rotate on-call coverage to include nights and weekends
* Participate in storm support as needed
* Execute transportation requests, all modes, received via phone or group email
* Identify and implement logistics cost savings and process improvements
* Report and analyze metrics – provide recommendations for improvement
* Manage carrier compliance
* Manage cargo claim process
* Participate in periodic customer meetings – foster communication and relationship building, review client’s needs and requests, provide status updates on ongoing initiatives and outages
* Adhere to client procedures and practices relating to safety while working onsite

Pay: From $45,000.
