As a part of Compass Digital’s - Food Services Digital team, the VP of Digital Strategy will lead work with the Education divisions across the US to help optimize their overall business strategy through digital channels - specifically around guest experiences, growth strategies for the business and partner engagement.
This role will help the organizations with strategic planning and execution of digital strategies through the use of compass digital services as well as interface with partner networks and technologies.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of technology and business experience, along with proven consulting and/or management skills driving strategic projects within large retail or services-based organizations.
Responsibilities: Lead strategic engagements that partner with internal teams to derive insight and provide recommendations to the business that improve retail operations and/or service performance.
Work with operations team, marketing, data, and E15 teams to cross-sell and up-sell existing partners assisting in identifying new business opportunities.
Provide digital consulting to business operators and partners that drive customer experience through digital platforms as well as some traditional retail platforms Support the sales team as needed and provide support on digital and innovation in Education to differentiate and grow new sales.
Consistently identify new opportunities to drive digital programs into the business and drive results.
Provide governance updates to senior business leadership on a regular basis Develop innovation pilot strategies in partnership with Education business units and execution on a results driven basis Interface with internal teams on product and experience development needs to further grow the impact of digital within the Education sectors Lead a Strategy team to scale vision and impact across Education sectors Qualifications: 10+ years Digital or Technology related experience in digital strategy, innovation, technology partnership management and experience with consulting or analytics projects interactive marketing, including mobile, social, hardware.
Ability to quickly relate to a company's business and technology strategy with clients / partners as well as internal leadership level within the sector.
Ability to grow and develop strategy team by elevating current performance to keep pace with organizational growth Experience managing and executing large scale technology and digital transformation strategies in large organizations.
Proven communication skills in delivering presentations and managing communication in large organizations.
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
