Job Scope To drive sales through business development and sales force management, ensuring that current customers are getting the right services, identifying new markets and customer leads, and pitching prospective customers.
Scope 1: Sales Growth - Prospect the market to formulate your own business portfolio and sales funnel while agreeing with branch manager on your sales strategy - Present, promote and sell freight services using GES marketing kit and your sales skills to existing and prospect clients - Coordinate with pricing team to obtain the most competitive market price - Offer quotes to customer via written mediums following GES sales process - Monitor your target via tracking sheet and submit monthly performance report to branch manager including quoted and accepted/non accepted offerings - Follow up with customers on collections in coordination with branch and accounting managers Scope 2: Account Management - Process and verify the customer profile on GES portal / ERP system in coordination with operations team and sales support - Act as the voice of the customer within GES, handling complaints, escalating them as needed, and following through with shipment from end-to-end - Follow up on daily operations to ensure optimal service delivery to customers.
- Strengthen client relationship to obtain referrals within the larger internal and external network of the customer - Monitor client trends to anticipate business growth or demand decline and prepare contingency plans accordingly Scope 3: Reporting - To maintain overall sales pipeline for self-updated on weekly basis - To report sales results on monthly basis including justifications of any shipments soled at lower margin Qualifications - BA in Business, preferably with focus on sales and marketing, MBA is a plus - Excellent knowledge of MS.
Office (Excel, Word, ppt, and visio) - 2 to 4 years' experience working in the freight forwarding industry with the last two years at least within the sales function - Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities, Solid analytical, critical thinking, detail-orientation, and communication skills - Excellent command of English, any other language is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
