*Duties*
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a multifamily property.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing tenant relations, including addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Coordinating and overseeing property maintenance and repairs.
- Collecting rent payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Advertising and marketing available properties to attract potential tenants.
- Screening and selecting qualified tenants, including conducting background checks and verifying references.
- Enforcing lease agreements and handling lease renewals or terminations.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills to effectively manage multiple properties.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

- Knowledge of fair housing regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of property management.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes, including lease agreements, tenant screening, and eviction procedures.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and files.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address tenant issues or property maintenance concerns.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills for generating reports and maintaining property databases.
