TITLE INSURANCE UNDERWRITER
Morehead Title Company needs a residential title underwriter to work in the Charlotte, North Carolina office.
This person will be responsible for providing accurate title commitments and policies in a busy office.
You will work directly with our clients including attorneys, builders, developers and financial institutions to help facilitate the successful closing of real estate transactions we are insuring.
\*Examine preliminary and final opinions of title to determine conditions of title and insurability by considering the effect of documents such as deeds, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, assessments, estate probates and other matters of record;
\*Review and assess pertinent documents to determine ownership, legal descriptions, and other matters affecting title to real estate;
\*Some marketing to existing and new clients will be involved;
\*Identify and assess risks and liabilities pursuant to company guidelines;
\*Maintain production levels in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment;
\*Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service and customer maintenance skills;
