The Testing Specialist II may direct entry-level testers, test leaders or directly manage a specialty function.
This role is accountable for accurate and timely test execution and/or supports operational and administrative initiative activities related to a Testing Functional area including multiple stakeholders.
This role interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems.
Daily responsibilities of the Testing Specialist II include execution of test scripts, identifying and documenting defects and providing daily updates to test leads and managers as needed.
This role works closely with Risk, Compliance, and SMEs to conduct testing.
The Testing Specialist II has intermediate knowledge of test execution and system(s) of record required, and translates business strategy into work programs and processes.
This role may contribute and/or participate in multiple special projects.
Certified Appraiser - Testing Specialist II
• Accountable for accurate and timely test execution
• Evaluates complex residential loan appraisals ensuring compliance with appropriate company and secondary market investor standards; i.
e.
FM Conforming, Nonconforming, FHA, VA, Custom
• Perform tests for special purpose audits according to the determined scope, if applicable
• Identifies credit risk defects and root cause for finding placement, details defects in finding comments and rates identified issues
• Examines loan collateral documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Provides training and direction to more junior staff as appropriate
• Elevates errors and recommends enhancements as appropriate
• May respond to appeals
• Work special projects as necessary
• May be point-of-contact for Support Lead when needed

Required/Desired:
Must be a Certified Residential Appraiser or Certified General Appraiser in good standing
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Include systems knowledge, certifications, etc.
Extensive functional or professional knowledge
Microsoft Suite of products
Ability to test across multiple lines of business
Extensive functional or professional knowledge
Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential collateral underwriting including Conforming, Nonconforming, HELOC, Custom, FHA and VA
Exhibits flexibility and works independently.
