For sale is a Moller 4-rank, opus 7343, built in 1947, complete pipe organ located in a church in Concord, NC.
This small but commanding instrument is reflective of Moller's practice of borrowing from a flute, diapason, string, and reed to create a full (enough) organ to support hymn and service playing.
It has served its congregation well and would be a suitable organ for a small or medium church, or a very respectable practice organ for a home, church, or institution, with the right buyer and installer.
This organ was regularly maintained up until August 2020, when the congregation discontinued its use.
A recent casual evaluation found it to be in good working order, and remarkably, still in good tuning.
We would welcome you to bring your organ technician to evaluate it if you are interested.
The ranks are housed in both a main and offset chest.
The instrument is located inside a comfortably-sized chamber of approximately 10'x10', accessed by a door adjacent to the chancel (1 step up from ground floor); the console is on the ground floor.
The entire organ with the exception of the chimes (not pictured) is enclosed with two sets of swell shutters.
Reasonable offers will be considered.
Priority will be given to buyers who intend to remove the entire instrument rather than piecemeal, but we are open to all offers.
We would like it to be removed by mid-April.
Please email me with inquiries.
The instrument is listed on pipeorgandatabase.
