**PRICE DROP**1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior - $7,800

Up for grabs is a nice little midrange tone monster! It was purchased from the original owner who purchased it new at Manny's Music in New York City in the spring of 1958 with the help of a friend.
It boasts a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and a nice lightweight, but not too light, old growth Mahogany neck and body.
-It resonates nicely and is very loud unplugged! Its a 1957 Les Paul Jr that has no breaks and is in excellent condition for it's age.

but has been modified as you can see in the pictures.
A switch was added between the pots/knobs- not sure what it was supposed to do with a single coil, single pickup guitar?? Pickup was DOA- *rewound by Lindy Fralin* It has basically been rewired.
It has the original pots but the capacitor was replaced and all original solder joints have been undone.
The jack and jack plated have been replaced as well.
Wrap around tailpiece is long gone- it had a cheap adjustable wrap but was replaced with a Mojo Axe compensated wrap around tailpiece.
It plays in tune very well.

The studs are Tone Pros locking studs.
The tuners were replaced at some point but were replaced with vintage correct ones with new buttons.
The bushings are new replacement ones.
It has a new bone nut and a precision re-fret done by NC Guitar Works.
It's a fantastic player! An "all original" example in this condition are priced in the $12,000 range from online research.
Since it has been modded, get this one at a steal! $7800 obo.
It's hanging on the wall at NC Guitar Works waiting for a new home.
