Summary:
Lead or execute communication based initiatives and activities.
Implement communications strategies to promote and protect ’s reputation.
Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives.
Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging.
Responsibilities:
Translate, review, proof, and validate content in context as applicable while adhering to strict style guides, terminology, deadlines, and procedures
Conduct post-translation review and spot-checking for language accuracy and consistency, reporting defects, and verifying fixes
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Respond to client feedback, analyze legal and/or compliance feedback provided, act as a liaison to settle any pending issues, and verify feedback implementation by internal linguists / vendors
Address linguistic queries and consultations on a daily basis from internal clients and vendors
Qualifications:

Translation industry experience, project management experience, or a combination of both
Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish/English
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Experience as a professional translator and editor or proofreader, translating, reviewing and providing feedback on marketing, finance, legal and banking material, targeting Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.
S.
and Latin America
Verifiable professional experience translating / transcreating creative content (such as marketing and public relation communication content)
Expertise in transcreating that connects emotionally and is culturally appropriate with the target audience in Spanish
Experience with Computer Assisted Translation and Terminology tools (such as Wordfast, Studio, SDLX, Trados, MultiTerm, etc.
)
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and other common content tools
Experience with translation management systems (SDL TMS or WorldServer)
Experience with translation and terminology management tools (Trados Studio, WorldServer, SDLX, or equivalent)
Experience using Internet-based resources such as dictionaries and glossaries
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish translation or linguistics (Preferred)
ATA certification (Preferred)
