Job Overview
The Quality Compliance Sr.
Manager is responsible for monitoring, engaging, supporting, and training manufacturing, distribution, and sales for Quality Compliance, Food Safety, Regulatory, Brand, and Certification requirements for the assigned territories.
The Quality Compliance Sr, Manager is also responsible for communicating with and presenting to internal and external stakeholders; providing strategic guidance and resources to support and improve processes related to Quality functions that will enhance the customer experience; and providing support for manufacturing, distribution, and sales.
The role will require travel throughout the territory they are assigned and attending meetings with cross-functional teams when scheduled.
Additionally, this role is responsible for Business planning for plants to achieve Quality, Food Safety, CMS, ISO, and regulatory goals; facilitating Plant training activities including but not limited to GMP, sanitation processes, process capability, ISO compliance, FDA compliance, and QA personnel competency; leading process improvement management activities including but not limited to process extensions for capacity growth, new product qualifications, equipment installation validations, and new production line qualification.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leads the implementation and management support of CMS and the manufacturing and supply chain quality, food safety, and regulatory programs by leveraging expertise and collaborating with internal stakeholders
Assesses programs that can measure and identify product and system issues throughout manufacturing and supply chain and drives continual improvement projects within manufacturing
Ensures that major customers' needs are met from customer service and quality standpoint through the development of relevant measurement systems that can track quality progress within their support function
Liaises when a customer service issue comes into question or a product quality issue arises between manufacturing and supporting departmental areas
Serves as a subject matter expert by maintaining certification for HACCP and relevant food safety modules within the industry
Assists and supports the manufacturing organization in meeting the established Quality goals and objectives
Supports cleaning in place system validations annually

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (4 years)
Knowledge acquired through 7 or more years of work experience
