We are looking for an experienced paralegal and result-driven leader to join our growing team.
As a paralegal on our team, you will have responsibilities with both clients (health care providers) and candidates (healthcare professionals immigrating to the USA).
With clients, you will assist them navigating the immigration process, supporting them to hire a variety of different types of healthcare works on various visa types.
The position reports to the Director of Legal services.
Within the organization, the position has primary working relationships with the legal team, internal client managers, members of our team in the Philippines and with clients.
Principle Accountabilities
* Correspond with potential clients during the intake process and maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases;
* Primary work is with EB-3, H1B, OPT, TN, F1 and F2 visas
* Prepare immigration petitions and responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reconsider, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny;
* Oversee and lead various projects and deadlines
* Maybe required to research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions
*Qualifications *Required:
* NC Paralegal Certification Preferred
* Associate’s Degree Preferred
* At least two years of experience, Immigration Law preferred
* Solid writing and verbal communication skills
* Must be organized and detail oriented
* Ability to effectively multitask
* Ability to adhere and meet strict deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $48,205.
