*Job Description:* We are looking for a passionate and skilled Contract Mental Health Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children, teenagers, families, and adults.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, have experience working with diverse populations, and be committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
*Responsibilities:*
Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for clients of all age groups.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Offer crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in the mental health field through ongoing professional development and training.
Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in providing services to a diverse client population.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure quality care and professional growth.
Serve as an advocate for clients and their families, helping them access necessary community resources and support services.
*Qualifications:*
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
* Licensed as a LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), LMFT(A) in the state of North Carolina.
* Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a clinical setting.
* Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in therapy and professional conduct.
