Overview:
The Legal Operations Manager provides administrative, clerical and operational support to the department and assists in complex relationship building across the system.
The role will communicate and maintain current external counsel strategy and support improving outside counsel and expense management.
Performs functions either as part of a team or individually to ensure the administration and smooth operation of departmental business.
Serves as resource to staff.
Provides recommendations, insight, and communicates with all levels within and without the organization supporting strategic business operations.
Performs complex tasks typically following established processes, makes recommendations for process improvement and efficiencies for the legal office and exercises independent judgment developing project plans.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
2 Year / Associate Degree, required.
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: Four years of administrative support experience, required.
Two years Legal office experience, preferred.
Additional Skills (required): Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within and without the organization.
Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.
, to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases; Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
Understands financial statements and budget.
Additional Skills (preferred): Proprietary eBilling, Database and Document management specific to the legal department
