Legal Assistant

*Skufca Law*, located in the heart of South End Charlotte seeks a Legal Assistant to assist with day-to-day operations of the law firm and provide support for attorneys and other legal professionals.
Excellent communication skills, dependable transportation and a good sense of humor required.
*Must have previous work experience in a professional office environment*.
Hours between 8:30 & 5:30 pm Monday – Friday.

*Responsibilities include:* * Answering phones * Greeting clients * Completing client intake * Filing documents * Handling incoming and outgoing mail * Drafting enclosure memos * Purchasing office supplies * Scheduling appointments * Maintaining lobby and reception area organized and neat * Maintaining up-to-date client and non-client contact database * Making courthouse runs to file documents * Other administrative tasks as needed *Qualifications:* * Proficiency in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel required * Experience with document management system desired * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail, accurate typing and proofreading skills * Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at a time * Professional, friendly, organized and a good team player *Benefits:* * Health, Dental, and Vision coverage * 401K with Firm match * Fitness/gym reimbursement * Healthy snacks Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.
