INTERVENTIONIST (27.5 HOURS PER WEEK)

Interventionist (Classified) Reports to: Principal Purpose: To provide academic interventions with small groups of students based on instructional data to ensure appropriate instructional interventions are provided in a successful and efficient manner to support student learning.
Qualifications: 48 semester hours which include core courses with an overall 2.
5 or higher GPA from accredited institution; OR Associate Degree or higher with an overall 2.
5 or higher GPA from an accredited institution; OR WorkKeys testing in Math - (min score 4); Reading - (min score 4); and Writing - (min score 3).
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide interventions for math, reading and/or writing to identified students in a small group setting Provide support for Lead interventionist for the delivery of instructional interventions Provide small group instruction in K-5 classrooms Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor Term of Employment: 10 months, 1 year temporary Salary: Classified Salary Scale (Grade C)
