Overview
The Cabarrus College of Health Sciences (CCHS) Associate Registrar supports department leaders to include monitoring and recording student progress toward graduation, maintaining and distributing data related to program progress and completion, including academic credit evaluation, communicating the status of student-specific requirements, and serving as a trusted and accurate source for information on academic progress, program/graduation requirements, and policies and practices of the College.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience in academic registration, records, and records retention preferred.
Essential Functions
Maintains accurate official records, following policies and procedures which adhere to appropriate agency regulations.
Oversees registration; implements policies related to progression and graduation.
Prepares school calendar, processes transcript requests, calculates and reports on progression requirement and course prerequisites.
Maintains responsibility for the academic credit processes in conjunction with program chairs and faculty to include: transfer credits, advanced placement credits, experiential learning credits and credit by examination.
Assists with department projects related to information, support and services to students and alumni, by planning implementing orientation activities, preparing College Chancellor's List, Provost's List and probation and suspension lists, coordinating student graduation activities.

Physical Requirements
Extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stretching; as well as frequent movement throughout the College and agency campuses.
Occasional driving to other locations.
