In excellent condition for its age, with a warm walnut color and wonderful patina.
This desk is very sturdy and is unique in its construction.
The hinged front panel, that opens downward, and acts as a writing surface, is connected to the cupboard base.
The open cubby holes, that form the desk portion, are part of the upper half of the cabinet.
You can see there is plenty of storage/display area behind the upper and lower doors.
The top shelf was removed; probably to store larger objects.
I will include a shelf that can be cut to fit if desired.
The insides of the upper and lower door panels are hand planed.
All 5 doors have the original locks, but there is no key.
Dimensions are: 77 inches tall x 45 inches wide x 15 inches deep.
The upper half is 10 ½ inches deep.
