The brass movement is stamped by one of the most recognizable names in early German clock making.
The clock works perfectly, and is powered by a set of ornate brass weights.
The case is perfect, and has a nice decorative carving above the brass clock face.
It chimes once on the half hour and strikes the number of the hour on a long rod; similar to some tall case clocks of the period.
As you can see, the wood and brass pendulum in mounted to the back of the case rather than directly to the movement, which is somewhat unique.
Crank key is included.
