*Responsibilities:*
- Report to office from 8-5 M-Th or M-F.
WFH 1-2 days per week or depending on appointments scheduled/client needs
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Self-manage (with limited supervision) 5-10 client accounts monthly to ensure closing processes are completed accurately and efficiently
- Perform journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as tax reporting and preparation
- Conduct account analysis and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments
- Support clients in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is preferred
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations
- Experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or financial management is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
